Inclusion is the active participation of young children with and without disabilities in the same classroom and community settings. Inclusive preschool settings will vary; however, inclusive preschool environments should provide all children with the support and related services needed to achieve valuable learning outcomes as well as an opportunity to build and maintain positive social relationships with other children.
