Technical Assistance Papers (TAP) are produced periodically by the State of Florida, Department of Education to present discussion of current topics. The TAPs may be used for inservice sessions, technical assistance visits, parent organization meetings, or interdisciplinary discussion groups. Topics are identified by district personnel, individuals, or from program compliance monitoring.

The Office of Early Learning of the Florida Department of Education has issued a new Technical Assistance Paper (TAP): #07–03 Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) Education Programs and Programs for Children with Disabilities. The TAP is in a question and answer format and discusses service delivery models and funding.
